Danger! The Usul Suspects
By Anjie

Minding Usuls, small and sweet,
This job may sound a dream.
But keeping charge of baby pets
Is not all it may seem.
Evil in its smallest form,
These tiny terrors rage.
To babysit the naughty group,
In battle you'll engage!

Hear the tread of tiny paws?
You best hope that it's not.
Lest they're sneaking from behind,
As part of wicked plot.
Propeller hat strapped on their heads,
One does belong to each.
Their silky ears pushed back behind,
Far from propeller's reach!

Ominous, the giggles sound,
You slowly turn around.
No scarier a sight could be
Than what it seems you've found.
A baby Usul stands behind,
A wicked grin in place.
There's evil gleaming in his eyes,
And malice in his face.

You shake your head, and give a speech,
"I'll tell your folks, you know!"
He merely giggles, gives a push,
You fall. Watch out below!
You're in the job for the long haul,
No matter what it brings!
Remember tiny Usul folk
Are often wicked things!

Peopatra the Pure
By Icesmith

The distant swirl of sands alight,
And the churned streets of gold,
Can be seen through the safety of glass,
From the shop of Petpets sold.

Who runs this store, some do ask,
Yet their queries are soon unveiled,
As the glorious Peophin stands tall and proud,
Her headdress of gold, so revealed.

Across her body lies not a single scratch,
From those sharp desert friends she sells,
As instead her arm is purely coated,
With such charming orchestral bells.

Unlike others, her voice is pristine,
And not roughed by the fierce desert sun,
And her purity and elegance is beauty itself,
Her presence not one to shun.
This Peophin, you see, goes by the name,
Of Peopatra, the oh-so-pure,
And under her roof do the Petpets feel
Perfectly at home and secure.

The Mummified Ruki
By Dragonstorm_75

Past twisting corridors like dark Cobralls,
Through winding passages and rounded halls,
There lies a room of eerie calls,
With silver and gold lining its walls.

The empty sticks begin to ignite,
Revealing indeed a most fearsome sight.
Glistening in the peculiar light,
Sits a sarcophagus, bathed in white.

The door begins to open with a creak,
And my knees begin to tremble and be weak.
"It's loose!" I cry, and I run with a shriek,
"A mummified Ruki, huge and grotesque!"

It groans and it moans; I am filled with dread
As it scuttles toward me with a shake of its head
And stretched out a claw; cloth frayed to the thread,
It points to my paw, its displeasure unsaid.

I gasp and I hand him the jewel that I stole,
He smiles and fades, leaving me shocked to the soul.

Kauvara's Masterpiece
By Flosset

Stirring and whirling, the clinking of glass,
Kauvara beckons you in for a peek,
You look at the cauldrons full of undone tasks,
She asks, "What is it you seek?"

Icy wands, potions, and elixirs for healing,
A battler's favourite things, this I'm sure,
Ancient books and bottles stacked to the ceiling,
And colourful liquids that change your fur.

Collecting her materials, her work she will start,
As you watch entranced with wide-open eyes.
Mixing and matching, it is Kauvara's form of art,
"It is what I have always wanted!" you cry.

She hands you the potion; you accept with care,
As you admire the mysterious colours held within,
With a flick of her hat, she is no longer there,
Until next time, but who knows when?

A Yooyu's Job
By I_lov_to_read_books

They rise up to the cheering crowd,
And hear the Techo screaming loud.
To be held and thrown about,
While they hear the fans scream out,
"Throw that Yooyu in,
Be the team to take the win!"

They don't care who takes the win,
They just fly through the air and spin and spin,
Proud that they were chosen to be
The ones thrown for victory
Into the goal of the other team,
While players on the winning side beam.

All the different types that we know,
Fire, normal, faerie, and snow,
Even clockwork and mutant are thrown
Across the floor to the golden thrones,
Where they fly inside and hit the net,
And wonder if the game is over yet.

The Yooyus love their job
And are happy as can be,
So they don't want the games to end
For a very long time.
