BOROVAN DAY SPECIAL

365.25 Borovan Recipes
By _Razcalz_

Bustling in a kitchen small,
This icy winter day.
Cookbooks lined on wooden shelf,
You glance o'er neat array.
One of them catches your eye,
Tome of yellow-tan.
Three-six-five dot twenty-five:
Recipes with Borovan.

Pages fragile do reveal
Instructions, each in ink.
Varieties of Borovan,
Who says it's just a drink?
Yellow volume whispers out,
These recipes contrived.
Three hundred sixty-five of them,
(Don't forget the point-two-five.)

Without ado, you start your day,
By brewing just one pot.
From there you move to creamy pies,
Eager to try the lot.
Ice cream scoop, delicious crepe,
Borovan layered cake.
Apple-flavoured, orange too,
And brownies, freshly baked.

All are finished in no time,
Something's missing, though.
One for every day of year,
Leaves point-two-five to show.
Figure out how long it'd take,
To have whole recipe here...
That's right, that's right,
You'll have to wait three years!

Cup of Borovan
By Larkspurlane

How do you like your Borovan? In a crepe?
In a pavlova? How about some Borovan
Brownies, do you like those? Or perhaps
you would prefer a fresh Borovan and
Asparagus Tart? A Borovan Cream
Pie? No -- no, I think we all agree;
there's nothing quite like a
hot cup of Mint Borovan,
on such a cold, cold winters day -- drink up!

Suspicious Borovan Creame Pie
By Arula

The Borovan Tart is flaky and fresh,
The Borovan Crepe is delicious,
The Borovan Brownies are hard to resist,
But the Borovan Pie is suspicious.

It was baked, they say, on the year's darkest day,
This most fragrant and frightening of pies,
By a Kiko who'd recently gone round the bend,
And an Eyrie with fire in his eyes.

They cackled and croaked as the chocolate boiled,
And they blended the filling just right,
From asparagus, cream, and the terrified dreams
Of mad Meercas who meep in the night.

A Scorchio's foul and fiery breath
Put the glaze on its chocolate crust,
And Jhudora stopped by to finish it off
With a sprinkling of Dark Faerie Dust.

Now it sits in its pan like an innocent cake,
And there really is no way to tell,
Apart from the scorchmarks that blacken its cream
And its rather unusual smell.

There's nothing like Borovan on a cold day,
It'll put a bright spark in your eye,
But friend, if you value your life and your health
Stay away from the Borovan Pie.

I Spilled My Cup Of Borovan
By Lily2b18

I spilled my cup of Borovan,
'Twas burning upon my lap.
It seeped into my clothing,
And was hot as a lightning's zap.

I spilled my cup of Borovan
And the cream flew on my face.
I resembled Santa Claus,
But I took up half the space.

I spilled my cup of Borovan
And the vanilla flew in my eye,
And it made my tears taste very good,
Which I discovered when I cried.

I spilled my cup of Borovan,
And it made me very sad.
It was the last of the pot I made,
And that was all I had.

I spilled my cup of Borovan,
And I was to drink no more.
But lo! Behold! What fate is this?
I found some on the floor!

Many Ways With Borovan
By Stariell

The perfect drink on frosty days,
Nothing could be too high praise,
For Borovan, that sweet, rich brew,
Served with an asparagus sprig or two.

Such a delight to sit and savour,
It comes in every kind of flavour.
Try apple, orange, or a hint of spice,
And vanilla flavour's twice as nice.

Bake it into sweet delicious pies,
Or use to flavour your brownie surprise,
Nothing tastes more like a dream,
Than asparagus pie with Borovan creme.

Eat Borovan any way that you please,
(There are over three hundred recipes),
But the way I think I like mine the best,
Is poured straight from my Borovan press.

So as winter chill creeps into your toes,
Try the drink to give you a toasty glow.
A hot cup of Borovan will always be,
My very favourite Neopian delicacy!
