Aisha's Greed By neojell346

She pondered through Neopia,
searching high and low.
For what she searched, she kept a secret;
her evil grin had a devilish glow.

Aisha's grand ambition
was to be the wealthiest pet in all the land.
To accomplish this unlikely feat,
she planned to snatch
every last thing from every pet,
right from their little hands.

She greedily took and stole and robbed,
every last neopoint, item, and prize.
She didn't care that her selfish actions
would cause little tears
to come from the Neopets' eyes.

Soon Aisha had all she desired,
and she celebrated and clapped and cheered,
yet she stopped, looked around
and felt something strange,
and paused to think, "What could it be?"

Something is missing,
was what she concluded,
"But what?" Aisha thought
as she eyed her posessions.
"I have everything that I'll ever need;
every holiday slush, every cute orange fuzzle,
every eyeshadow, hair brush and lipstick."

"There is nothing left in Neopia that I need."
But Aisha knew that deep down inside,
her heart had been overtaken by greed.
Although she had objects, they were no substitute.
She needed friends, and of them she had none.
For she had taken from them,
and robbed them of their things,
and now she had to pay
for her unthoughtful choices.

So she lived alone
with all of the riches in Neopia,
but she had no one to share them with,
and no one to talk to.
So remember my friends, don't be like Aisha,
and don't attain Aisha's greed.

To Never Meet By rabidpanda06

Lotheryia and Salazarian
A Gelert and an Eryie
Walked through the Gallery of Evil
And found it rather scary

They saw Dr. Sloth, that skunk
Who tried to rule Neopia not long ago
Till the brave Space Faerie stopped him
With a beautiful light show

The Monocerus, deadly fierce
An always hungry freak
His only enemy is the Jub Jub
Who appears so very meek

The Swamp Ghost gave to two pets chills
They decided never to wander in bogs
Should the Swamp Ghost be lurking
Somewhere in the fog

The Pant Devil is a sneaky foe
Though Salazarian said that he could take him
The Gelert still remembers with a sting
When it stole his Streaky Bacon

The Ghost Lion is mysterious
And one who shoud be feared
You would be wise to run
If his roar ever meets your ears

When the pets left the Gallery
Though they told their owner it was a treat
They also said those were some Neopians
They hoped to never meet.

The Forbidden Toy By tarynbkubo123

My owner said don't touch the toy
that's lying on the shelf.
She said that if I touched the toy,
I'd never be myself.
But it looked so cute, it looked so fun,
That red Meerca on the shelf.

I knew it was wrong, I knew it was bad
To disobey my owner so dear.
But I still took the toy off the shelf
Without a single fear.
As I touched the toy with my purple paw,
I felt a shuddering jolt.
I gasped as I glanced at my paw,
Now red as a fire molt.

Now I'm a red, red Meerca, as ugly as can be,
When I used to be a Faerie Poogle, oh stupid me.
So never disobey your owner, either girl or boy
When it comes to Plushies and toys
Because that Plushie, sweet and dear,
Could be a magical one to fear!

Poogle's Nightmare By lupehole

The Esophagor is angry,
I failed to do his task.
A little more time,
That's all that I ask.

This makes him furious.
Each eye is a burning ember.
I run against a sudden cold wind,
Like a snowstorm in December.

I'm suddenly racing four other Poogles,
Three on one side, one on the other,
Then far in the crowd,
I notice my brother.

He's shaking his head,
Hanging it low.
At this sight,
I instantly know.

I'm way behind,
Not even at the first hurdle.
My stomach feels
Like it's squished by a girdle.

Then on my neck,
I feel a warm breath.
The Esophagor's behind me.
Could this be my death?

I'll never get through this,
It definitely seems.
But then I wake up,
It was all a dream.

NeoPox Fever By jennaschnaudt

I can feel my fever rushing, burning.
The heat is rising. Why am I hot?
Don't worry my friend, I'm here for you,
I am comforted by these words
You have said to me.
May I have the cure? What do I have?
You answer with a sigh, "I have no NP.
I feel I have failed you.
You have the NeoPox.
Oh My! I have found this cure!
Right here on the floor! I can help you!"
I get the cure, and eat the pizza.
My fever is gone! I am no longer sick!
Thank you ever so much my owner!
We have gotten through this together,
And I still love you and will keep you always.
Your words still comfort me.
When I think back to that time,
I still see your loving face.
I love you my owner,
In all of your grace.
