Contact Form: Account Activation

Please read the following information about activating your account before you e-mail us. Your question can most likely be answered here, and you won't have to wait for a response from us.

Once you choose a username and create an account, you should receive a confirmation e-mail from Neopets that reminds you what your username and password are (which you need in order to log on to Neopets), and also tells you your Activation Code. The Activation Code is a unique password that you need to enter once on the Neopets site in order to activate your account.

If you are confused how to log on and enter the Activation Code, you may also simply click on the link provided in the confirmation e-mail, which will look something like this:

If you received multiple confirmation e-mails because you signed up for more than one account, you need to make sure you are entering the correct Activation Code separately for each username. Each account has its own individual Activation Code. Please double check the account information contained in each confirmation e-mail.

If you entered the wrong e-mail address at sign up, you cannot change it, and you will have to start over and sign up for a new account.

If you never received the confirmation e-mail, check your e-mail inbox and make sure that it is not too full to receive new messages. You may have to delete some of your old e-mails to make room for new ones. If you have a "junk mail" folder on your e-mail account, you should check there, too.

If you have accidentally deleted the confirmation e-mail, you can have it re-sent to you in order to retrieve your Activation Code. Simply click on the link inside the "Activate Your Account" box at the top of the page, labeled "Activation Code." This will take you to the Activate Your Account page. Follow the instructions on the right side of the page to request that your Activation Code be sent to you again.

If you get an "Invalid Code" error message, this means you are entering the wrong Activation Code. Make sure you are logged in as the username that is stated in your confirmation e-mail, since each account has its own individual Activation Code.
