How to draw a Babaa : Printable Version

First draw a cirular shape that is slightly wider than it is tall.

Draw a smaller circle inside of this circle, over to the right hand side. Next draw a small curved line through the bottom of the small circle. This will be your Babaa's right eye. You will only see a small amount of the left eye, so draw two curved lines just inside the right edge of your circle. Next draw on your Babaa's legs. Babaa's do have four legs, but you can ony see three in their normal pose.

Add a semi-circular line across the bottom of your Babaa's legs. Then draw two little ears that overlap the top of your circle. Now draw on your Babaa's eyelash, like so. Finally draw a crescent moon shape for your Babaa's nose. Then add a small line that curves down from the centre. This is your Babaa's mouth.

Now add some detail to your Babaa's eye. Draw a circle that overlaps the bottom right hand corner of the eye. Draw a smaller circle inside that one that also overlaps the right hand side of the eye. Then add in a small circle that touches the larger of the two circles, this will give the eye a little spot of light.

Draw a small circle around your Babaa's face, this will be a guide when you draw on the Babaa's wool. Draw on the fluff around the outside of your Babaa's body.

Now draw the fluff around the face and erase the circles around the face and your Babaa's body. If you wish, you can add some additional bits of fluff to give your Babaa more texture. You should end up with a drawing that looks similar to this one.

Your Babaa is now complete, simply add a spot of colour and there you have your very own Babaa.
