How to draw Lilian Fairweather : Printable Version
| Start by drawing a circle for Lilian's head. Lightly sketch a pair of crossed lines on the circle; these lines will help you later on when you're drawing her face. Next, make a long line (in the shape of a curvy "L") that starts at the bottom of her head. |
| Directly below Lilian's head, draw a large oval on the curvy line that you made in the last step. This oval will be Lilian's upper body. Now, make a smaller, wider oval beneath the large one. |
|
| Connect the two ovals you drew in the last step with a pair of short lines. Then, it's time to start working on Lilian's arms and legs. Draw two lines extending from each oval body shape. The lines connected to the lower shape should be longer, since they will form Lilian's legs. Additionally, the lines that will become her left arm and leg (the ones on your right) should be more curved. |
| Using the lines you made in the last step as guides, draw Lilian's arms and legs. Be sure to add her hands and a bit of furry texture to her arms. Her left hand, which is on your right, is curled into a fist. |
|
| Next, make Lilian's fluffy Xweetok mane and tail. |
| Your drawing could use a bit of detail, so add some bands to Lilian's arms and legs. Later on, these will serve as the cuffs of her shirt and trousers. Also, divide her paws into separate fingers, and make a belt around Lilian's waist. Now, let's begin working on her face. Using the lines you sketched in the first step as a guide, draw Lilian's big eyes. Finally, add her large, pointed ears to the top of her head. |
|
| Finish Lilian's face by adding her small nose and open mouth. Don't forget to include her glasses beneath her eyes. Also, add pupils to her eyes. Next, give Miss Fairweather a wide-brimmed hat and some long, flowing hair. |
| Add some more long, curling hair behind Lilian's back. Next, draw the laces of her hiking boots and her socks. |
|
| Erase any extra lines you might have left on your drawing. Then, make Lilian's clothing more detailed by adding some pockets to her shirt and trousers, plus a buckle for her belt. |
| Give your drawing lots of intense, dark shading to make it especially dramatic. After all, Lilian is being chased by gigantic Petpetpets! |
|
| Your drawing is almost complete! Finish it off by adding some colour. Use whatever you like, such as markers, a computer program, or even paints! |
